Volkswagen's performance at the Auto Show in Shanghai 2011 was peppered with highlights: the world premiere of the New Beetle, the Asia premiere of the New Passat, the introduction of the E-Scooter concept, the fashion show with creations of a German upcoming designer and the teaser introduction of the new interactive concept to be launched in Asian – the People's Car Project.

A first class booth with a high recognition level was developed to introduce the premieres to the press, to present the Volkswagen product range to the local market and to stage brand tailored shows for audience entertainment.

Being responsible for the brand communication, an AV program was developed highlighting Volkswagens values, products and projects. 15 selected cars were covered in a stylish design show accentuating the synergy between automotive and fashion. Additionally, a platform for the introduction of the People's Car Project was given with an entertaining and exciting interactive show.
