From May 1st until October 31st the World Expo in Milan hosted over 22 million visitors in total – where they experienced Feeding The Planet – Energy for Life in an impressive collection of more than 180 pavilions.
DVP Europe was responsible for the food & beverage concept and venue management and all operations of the Dutch Pavilion. The ‘festival style’ concept came to life with several food trucks from the Netherlands and a restaurant “De Kas” where guests from all over the world enjoyed Dutch Hospitality. More than 3 million visitors experienced the “Share – Grow – Live” themed Dutch pavilion, which has been a great success. The response from the Italian and global audience to the different approach of the pavilion has been very positive and on the 31st of October it closed after 6 successful months. The next upcoming World Expo will take place in 2017 in Kazachstan.
